The Circus Area is proud as purple plum pie to introduce this years performers.


LUNATRICKS
The circus area will once again be hosted by local performance troupe Lunatricks. These Geordie jugglers will be on hand to introduce the acts, teach all comers a vast raft of silly skills and throw things about in a stylish manner.

VOODOO UNICYCLES!
Europe's only EXTREME UNICYCLE DISPLAY TEAM! Jason Auld (Street Unicycle Champion) and Joe Baxter (Trials Unicycle Champion) will be doing extremely unusual things on one wheel. Riding a unicycle is hard enough. These guys have 20 years experience between them and will be jumping, tricking and risking life and shins for your entertainment. Learn from the best at their workshops and find out if they can survive the 'SKINNY OF DEATH'.

CIRQUE NOVA (Saturday Only!)
The inspirational Cirque Nova train people with physical and metal disabilities, people dealing with homelessness and those with troubled backgrounds in circus arts. They will be providing performances by artists with disabilities and running workshops in juggling, ariel skills and acrobatics for people of any ability. PROF. SCREWTOP'S BIG FIELD TRIP (Saturday Only)
Watch out as a road hogging clown careers out of control, spreading dismayed cyclists and disaster in his wake. The Green festival has commissioned this performance especially for the circus area 2011. Spills, thrills, giggles and gears combine as Bo the Clown, the only petrol head allowed onsite, unleasehes a proper old-skool clown car on the festival. Keystone cops style wackness spreading a post petrol message.

JESSE WARD
Big ones, little ones, SQUARE ONES?!! When it comes to bubbles Jesse has it covered. A student of the little known art of bubbleology, Jesse can create magical effects with little more than a bit of soap and some water. Prepare to be delighted by her act and amazed by what YOU can do during a bubble play session - for kids of all ages 0 - 1000.

NATALIE EAST
Just returned from touring and training with the world famous Zippo Circus, Natalie will be wowing the crowds with her Hula Hoop skills and then spilling the beans on how to spin your thing in her hula workshops.

WORKSHOPS
Try your hand at juggling, hula hoop, devil sticks, plate spinning, bubbles, stilts, diablo and more.
Weird wheels - We will have a whole range of bizarre wheeled objects for you to have a go on, unicycles, wrong bikes, clown bikes, tiny bikes and more. Can you ride the unrideable bike and claim the prize?
