Pangea Lakeside Stage 2011 In association with Ideas Tap
Brought to you by Pangaea Sound System and alt
Is a vibrant spot to both chill-out in the sun (hopefully) and to listen to uplifting funky roots music and spoken-word, performed by locally based artists/bands with some guests travelling from further a field. Most of the performances will carry positive social messages, but not without sense of humour also. Expect to hear sounds solar powered by the sun, with flavours of the world from Folk to Funk, Roots to Reggae and ska and the more poetic side of rap music through to spoken word. This is with the added bonus visuals including backdrop of the lake, trees and the good work of our art team. If you’re feeling thirsty or peckish there’s also chai tea and cakes and other snacks from our friends the BeatRoot café.
The Line up so far: (May be subject to change)
